The Concept

Online education offerings are numerous, but for Professional Engineers (PEs) looking for Professional Development Hours (PDHs) to fulfill their Continuing Professional Competency (CPC) requirements, it can be hard to check so many sources to find relevant topics for your field at a time when you need them.

This site was set up as a way to organize upcoming webinar offerings from disparate sources in one convenient place, so you can see what’s coming up at several major sources in a convenient calendar view, or by categories such as “Paid”, “Free”, or “This Week”.

Currently the data is heavily slanted toward the interests of a structural engineer and everything is being gathered manually by just one individual… but there are some ideas percolating for automating the process, and adding topics across more engineering fields. If you have info or ideas to contribute, feel free submit a comment using the Contact Us page.

What We Do

We search the web and check the websites of some very well-known engineering education providers, and also a growing number of new or lesser-known providers. When we find webinars listed on those sites, we list them on our calendar with links back to the site offering the webinar.

We may display ads on the website in designated areas or pages, or with links clearly marked with terms such as “Advertisement”, “Ad”, “Featured”, or “Sponsored”.

What We DON’T Do

We DON’T produce or host any webinars. We JUST list them. The webinars are hosted by other sites! As such, please be aware of the following and as a general guideline, verify all information yourself before signing up or paying for any webinar:

  • We DON’T assert that any of the offerings–listed here, or at linked sites–meet criteria for ANY state board’s requirements. It is up to the reader to verify.
  • We DON’T assert that any of the offerings–listed here, or at linked sites–offer a certificate. It is up to the reader to verify.
  • We DON’T register you or assist in any way with registration, confirmation emails, webinar attendance links, webinar technical difficulties, or attendance certificates. Webinar registration, attendance, and credit are arranged between the reader and the webinar site–PDHCalendar.com is not a party in those interactions.

Happy online learning!
